Cocoa tree:

The cocoa tree is a tropical tree from Mexico and Venezuela. It provides cocoa beans that are used to produce cocoa. There are three varieties of cocoa: criollos, forasteros and trinitarios. The cocoa tree grows in hot countries, preferably in the shade. The tree needs a humid climate.

Cocoa beans:

Cocoa beans also called "cocoa pods" are seeds that come from the cocoa tree. The cocoa beans are used to make chocolate.

Cocoa butter:

Cocoa butter is a fat extracted from cocoa beans after they have been pressed.

Ganache:

Ganache is a mix of chocolate and fresh cream. It is used to fill chocolates. It can be unflavoured or fragranced.

Coating:

Procedure consisting in coating our products in a layer of chocolate.
