The Quernon d'Ardoise

The Quernon d’Ardoise consists of caramelised nougatine with almonds and hazelnuts, coated with blue chocolate to imitate the shapes and colours of the slate tiles that cover the houses of the town.

Hand made in the traditional way, the exclusive recipe of Quernons d'Ardoise has been delighting young and old since 1966.

Nougatine gives them their captivating crunchiness and the chocolate provides their sweetness and characteristic blue colour. The recipe's quality of flavour and harmony were recognised by a panel of expert professionals at the INTERSUC International Blue Ribbon trade show (1990). Thanks to this accolade the Quernons d’Ardoise permanently joined the ranks of French pastry specialities to discover or to give to someone as a gift.
